Established in 2022, Alert Mind Psychiatry LLC is a private mental health care in Newark, Delaware with a primary goal of enhancing mental health services in the community. The services provided include family, cognitive, and behavioral health counseling, substance abuse treatments, psychiatric services, and medication management. Treatments are rooted in evidence-based practices and delivered across the lifespan (children, adolescents, adults, and older adults.)

About the Owners
Marc Exilus is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience in psychiatry. From his first position as a registered nurse at Friends Hospital, he quickly developed a passion for working with individuals suffering from mental distress. Marc has experience working in various settings, including community mental health, IOP/PHP, correctional, and hospital. He has a proven record of treating complicated and severe mental disorders, including bipolar, schizophrenia, MDD, Anxiety, PTSD, and addiction. Marc obtained his master’s at Drexel University and is currently seeking his DNP at Wilmington University. Marc’s approach to providing optimal patient care is rooted in evidence-based practices, allowing individuals to be autonomous in their decision-making while sharing the knowledge to improve the best outcomes. In his spare time, he can be seen outside spending time with family and friends and doing yard work.
Yuri Exilus is an LMSW who obtained her Master’s in Social Work from Rutgers University. Yuri began her career working as a Mental Health technician in a psychiatric hospital; from then, Yuri has performed multiple roles within the mental health field over the past 10 years. During her time working in the Psychiatric crisis setting, Yuri has experience working with a wide range of mental health diagnoses. Yuri enjoys working with members of all communities.
